Eli & the Straw Man is a collective of seasoned musicians from Canada’s Niagara region. The band formed in 2014 and has since gained a reputation for their charismatic live performances and nostalgic, yet modern sound.

March 31, 2017 marked the release of their debut LP, Light the World -- ten tracks that call on elements of pop, folk, and soul, feature acoustic and electric instrumentation accented by horns, keys, and multi-layered vocal harmonies.

Eli & the Straw Man is partnering with the Huntington Society of Canada to raise awareness about Huntington disease, a fatal hereditary disease that affects 1 in 7000 Canadians, the symptoms of which are like having Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and ALS, all at once. To date, they have played four HD benefit events, in London, Niagara Falls, Oshawa, and Kitchener, helping to raise over $30,000 for HD research and services.
