Paint and Celebrate
This family friendly hands-on art experience will provide participants with the opportunity to paint a Canadian landscape using acrylics and contribute to a mural of stylized words celebrating what Canada 150 means to them.

Owl you need is ART!
Build an owl out of sculpey clay with your family, and then paint a cozy branch for your owl to live on. Throw and drip some paint in the 4Cats splatter room and experiment with watercolour resists.

Confessions Garbage Disposal
Participants will anonymously capture and throw away their emotional garbage on colourful paper and the artist will transform the community's collective 'trash' into treasure. A paper mache sculpture will be displayed using past emotional garbage from our community.

Sculpture with Model Magic
This workshop will explore sculpture with the media 'model magic.' Twist, roll, pinch, squeeze this media into a creative sculpture. The elements of design will be reinforced and the term 'sculpture' will be discussed. Colour, line, texture, shape and balance will all be explored in this family-friendly activity.
